For the past 2 years that I have been in the gold business, I have been selling my gold to a route person that would come by only once a month to buy my gold. Sometimes on time, sometimes a week or two late. The last time he was late I began looking on the internet for a company that could meet my needs when I needed them. The first person I spoke to at Mid-States was Peter. I told him my situation. I had a big lot of gold I needed to sell NOW because I was nearly out of money and my local gold buyer didn't show or call. Within 1 hour I had my lot of gold on the way to Mid-States and the very next day Peter wired an advance in my bank to keep us going. I took the time out of my busy schedule to let you know that I no longer fear sending my scrap into be refined. I have been in the Dental laboratory business for over 20 years and have sent off many collections to everyone. I am used to receiving far less than what I always think my shipment is worth. A colleague advised me to completely mix up all the grindings and dust in my next scrap shipment and send half to one company and the other half to a different company. What I learned by doing this is there are a lot of refining companies that take advantage of you! I eliminated many refiners and found that Mid-States was paying twice to three times over the other places. You will always have all of my future business and if a lab calls me I will let them know how professional my sales rep (Peter) has always treated me. And how honest your assessments are.

Over the past several months I have had four very successful transactions with Mid-States. When I first contacted them I was extremely skeptical because of several very bad experiences I have had with other refiners in the past! The actual silver content contained in my product, silver flake, recovered from photo finishing chemicals, is basically unknowable and unscrupulous refiners can easily cheat their customers and often do! In short,all my experience with Peter Spector and the people at Mid-States has been stellar. During the entire process the communication was excellent and I in fact realized a better payoff than even my highest expectation. I truly believe that these folks are honest and ethical in every way and I especially recommend them to people looking for maximum payout from their silver flake.
